And just like that, Therapy Pro turns four!

Karen Staal, Therapy Pro’s General Manager of Service Delivery looks back at the last four years with gratitude, amazement, and a sense that this is just the beginning.

“I started working on the clinical practice framework and values for Therapy Pro more than six months before we employed our first Therapist, so I’ve been on this journey now for almost five years. The time has flown quickly; suddenly there are employees that have been with us for a really long time. It’s wonderful, and a great milestone for us to celebrate”, Karen reflects.

Karen is keen to point out that there is still much to do and improve upon at Therapy Pro but it is a good challenge to have, and the business is excited to launch new products and ideas in the future.

After four years, Therapy Pro has a solid foundation from which to grow, reflected in the appointment of Chirag Patel, General Manager – Corporate Services earlier this year. Chirag joined the executive team in this newly created role to provide additional leadership to Therapy Pro’s busy corporate office functions.

With over 150 employees nationally, challenges for Therapy Pro come in the form of finding enough of the right therapists to support client demand.

Therapy Pro works with vulnerable people who have a disability, some with very complex needs, in a place where they choose their therapy to take place, like at home or somewhere in the community. It takes skilled therapists that are really driven to support people, to do this kind of therapy well.

Therapy Pro is committed to continue to grow a workplace where people can have a long career, where they can develop and do their best work.

“I have seen therapists grow so much, increase in confidence personally and professionally. I have seen the valuable way our therapists, from Townsville to Melbourne, share their knowledge and ideas with their peers, and the rich insights we get when employees work on projects with the Leadership team that improve the way we operate, continues Karen.”

“As team, we are united in the goal of having a positive impact in people’s lives; really great things happen from that connection.”
