Anjali Devasia has worked professionally as an occupational therapist since 2018.
In that time, Anj has worked with clients of all ages – from toddlers through to the elderly – with a range of physical disability, intellectual disability, neurodevelopmental disability, and chronic mental health conditions.
Her support for others extends back further, as a volunteer setting up a playgroup for children with autism and development delays and as a ‘buddy’ for school-age children with special needs at holiday camps.
“Taking the time to get to know a person is something I really cherish. It makes a difference in truly understanding what’s important. I love seeing changes and growth in an individual’s health and life.”
Anjali Devasia is available to work with Therapy Pro adult and child clients needing an OT to help them improve activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, community access and leisure time.
Where necessary, Anj may also recommend appropriate equipment and appliances – or minor home modifications – to further support client success.
Anj carries out thorough assessments and tailors interventions to goals. Anj has enjoyed particular success working with children’s development of motor skills, self-care skills and emotional regulation skills.
Anjali Devasia is a Monash University graduate.
