Chris carries out daily living functional assessments, mobility assessments, delivers therapeutic interventions to suit individual’s goals, and can assess and prescribe aids and equipment.

His knowledge of home modifications is practical and personal: Chris applied universal design features to meet the needs of his family.

Chris made a career switch from business management to occupational therapy via disability support and teacher aide work.

“I know what it’s like to be a parent following through with therapeutic interventions. That’s why I want to be realistic and work with the family to meet your goals and fit in with your time and energy.”

Chris is big on skills development – encouraging clients to believe in their abilities and to develop their strengths so that they can do what they hold important and meaningful and do it safely.

As the saying goes, ‘give a man a fish and he’s fed for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’.

Chris is a University of the Sunshine Coast graduate.
