As a sleep study technician while at university, Kish Naidoo was struck by the difference interventions, appropriately delivered with the right personal supports, could make to a person’s night —and day!

“I’ve always been a broad thinker, aware of the impacts of actions – ripple effects:  a good night’s sleep has a huge impact on what we can do with our day, and our outlook.

“Similarly, I’ve come to appreciate how good pain management helps maintain and enhance mobility.”

An occupational therapist, Kish Naidoo is available to work with Therapy Pro clients of all ages on the Gold Coast keen to improve their well-being and independence.

OTs are daily life specialists who support clients to improve key relationships and daily living functions—bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, walking—as well as school, workplace, and community involvement.

Kish also can help clients with aids and equipment assessments and may make recommendations for minor modifications at home to improve independence and safety.

He has previously worked in community clinics and in workplace rehabilitation and has particular experience with clients who have experienced stroke or traumatic brain injuries.

Kish Naidoo gained his Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland in 2018. He’s keen to balance hands-on therapy with further doctoral research.
