Since 2007, Lauren Lloyd has worked professionally to bridge gaps in community inclusion.

Prior to joining Therapy Pro as a psychologist (provisional), Lauren Lloyd worked as a social worker, mainly with vulnerable families, people who experienced trauma and children with disability entering early childhood learning.

She’s been a long-time advocate for people’s abilities and a recruiter of members for Team You, the unofficial crew we all need to support our efforts and cheer us on beyond therapy sessions.

In joining Therapy Pro as a psychologist (provisional) and social worker, Lauren offers child, adolescent and adult clients tailored solutions-focused therapies to address barriers and support you to live your best life.

Lauren carries out thorough psychological assessments and delivers therapeutic interventions including behaviour support plans.

Some of the areas Lauren can help with include emotional regulation, stress management, social communication, positive behaviour support, confidence-building, and self-worth.

She has particular experience in working with clients diagnosed with anxiety, autism, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

As well as professional experience, Lauren has the personal experience of navigating early childhood intervention services (ECIS) and NDIS plans for her own neurodiverse family.

Lauren Lloyd is dual qualified in social work and psychology with a Masters in Social Work gained from Griffith University.
