After more than 20 years in hairdressing, Leticia Martin has dramatically changed the way she brings out her clients’ true beauty.

Leticia joins Therapy Pro’s Moreton Bay team of allied health professionals as a psychologist (provisional) – and qualified art therapist.

“I love people and I wanted to do something more long-lasting than address a bad hair day,” she says.

“I grew up in a family committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities in leisure and lifestyle activities, and have a firm belief that we can realise our dreams or goals when we believe in ourselves and have the right support.”

Leticia works with child, adolescent, and adult Therapy Pro clients, carrying out psychological assessments and developing tailored individualised interventions to meet goals.

With her strengths-based approach, Leticia can develop behavioural support plans, and help you work on emotional regulation, stress management, positive behaviours and improved social interactions and relationships.

Leticia has experience working with clients with complex trauma and clients who are non-verbal. She has worked effectively with people from non-English speaking backgrounds too.

Leticia gained her Masters in Mental Health (Art Therapy) from the University of Queensland after completing her undergraduate psychology studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
