Enjoyable, safe mealtimes and effectively communicating our needs and wants or sharing thoughts and opinions as part of a conversation: they’re integral to a ‘good life’, Therapy Pro’s Nadeera Seedat believes.

“These are under-rated joy-makers that add to happiness, health, wellbeing and quality of life.”

A passionate advocate for inclusion and health equity, this speech and language pathologist draws on a richness of experience gained in schools, community and private practice settings in Australia and South Africa, working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Nadeera is available to work with child and adult clients, assessing and addressing challenges that impact language development, social communication, swallowing, mealtime management and literacy.

She can also prescribe technological aids to provide alternative non-verbal communication.

Nadeera uses a combination of holistic, evidence-based practice and quality of life strategies to support clients to achieve goals that are meaningful as well as functional.

“It’s a privilege to work with clients and see their goals and abilities evolve and improve.”

In 2020, Nadeera added to her academic qualifications, gaining a Master’s degree in public health from the University of Queensland.
