Prue, who spent more than a decade in the Caribbean as a banking and financial law paralegal, recognises that good mental health is priceless.

This Gold Coast psychologist (provisional) is available to work with child, adolescent and adult clients who present with anxiety, stress, depression, grief and other emotional regulation or behavioural issues.

She can carry out psychological assessments and implement tailored interventions.

Prue has particular interests in depression, anxiety and disordered eating.

Years in a support worker capacity, while studying, have strengthened Prue’s empathy and compassion, as well as her ability to connect and be trusted.

So has her side-gig as a Pilates teacher: “It’s as much about connection and emotional regulation as movement and breath.”

Prue Perrin’s journey to becoming a psychologist began in the United States, gaining her psychology degree at Penn State University. She acquired her master’s in counselling and completed an honours degree in psychology since returning to Australia.
