Shae Jones joins Therapy Pro Townsville as an occupational therapist (OT), supporting adult and child clients move towards their goals for greater independence, safely.

Shae previously worked with ‘return to work’ clients for a major north Queensland mining company and has seen the difference that the right supports make for successful transitions.

As an occupational therapist with Therapy Pro, Shae now focuses on assessments and tailored interventions for to improve activities of daily living – or ADLS that can include dressing, eating and personal hygiene — functional mobility, community access and participation, and social activities, as well as goals to enter or re-join the workplace.

She can also recommend appropriate equipment and appliances – or home modifications – that help you achieve more independence, safely.

“I’ve been moved by people’s determination to keep going and to explore different ways that work for them,” Shae says.

“I’m keen to help you see your strengths, to develop your abilities and to believe in your capability.”

Shae Jones is a James Cook University graduate.
