After hailstones crashed through the ceilings of houses in an Ipswich suburb in late 2020, leaving some dwellings uninhabitable, Tracy Stephens took to the streets offering comfort and support to bewildered neighbours and strangers.

That’s the sort of person she is.

An experienced crisis counsellor, Tracy can help child and adult clients with psychological assessments and interventions, develop behavioural support plans, and deal with presentations including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, and other emotional regulation issues.

“We are our own experts and we have answers inside us, we have strength inside too: sometimes we need support and guidance to achieve,” she says.

Tracy’s welcoming and easy-going manner encourages people to connect readily.

She’s spent much of her adult life putting herself into others’ shoes in a very different context – she was a high fashion footwear designer in London!

Now as a provisional psychologist, she’s looking forward to walking with you, upholding your strengths as you face challenges and kick goals.

Tracy graduated from QUT with Honours in Psychology in 2018.
