What to expect from your assessment?
The total duration of your assessment will depend upon your specific needs, however generally we follow the same process for each assessment.
Step 1: Initial consultation
We begin with a detailed discussion about your concerns, developmental history and current challenges. This helps us tailor the assessment to your specific needs and questions.
Step 2: Assessment sessions
Depending on the assessment type, you’ll complete one to three assessment sessions. These include standardised tests, questionnaires, and clinical interviews. Sessions are conducted at a comfortable pace with breaks as needed.
Step 3: Comprehensive report
Timeframes depend on the assessment, however we aim to deliver your detailed written report, including diagnostic results, conclusions, and practical recommendations, within about four to six weeks of your last assessment appointment. We explain findings in clear language and provide specific guidance for next steps.
Feedback session
We schedule a follow-up session to discuss your report in detail, answer questions and clarify recommendations. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of the findings and how to move forward.
