Rose is a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist with experience working across a variety of settings since 2016. She graduated in New Zealand and has developed a broad skill set working in hospitals, community settings, schools, Aged care facilities and home environments. Roses career has provided her with valuable insights into supporting individuals of all ages, from children to older adults, and I has extensive experience in both the NDIS sector and aged care.
As a generalized Occupational Therapist, Rose thrives on the diversity within her caseload, enjoying the opportunity to adapt and tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual. Rose’s areas of interest include Activities of Daily Living (ADL) retraining, upper limb retraining, equipment prescription, memory aids, brain injuries, and minor home modifications.
In addition to Rose’s clinical skills, She has experience working with clients who present complex behaviours and sensory needs, ensuring she can provide comprehensive support in these areas. Rose prides herself on her strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and has experienced in completing detailed reports, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), Support Independent Living Assessments (SIL), and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assessments.
Rose has a particular interest in supporting clients with brain injuries, cognitive conditions, intellectual disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).She is committed to helping individuals regain their independence, improve their functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions. Whether working with children, adults, or the elderly, Rose has the power of a holistic approach to therapy and enjoys creating meaningful changes for the people she works with.
