Angela has worked as a psychologist for 16 years, mostly with teens and adults – male, female, and non-binary – with complex presentations, sometimes challenging behaviours, and often, histories of trauma.
She also has supported clients make sense of their feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, and stress.
Angela Allen’s decision to go to university in her 30s and become a psychologist was a life-changing case of ‘pay it forward’.
“I was the recipient of some great interventions, having sought counselling for some ‘stuff’ in life. It made a difference. It’s why I say, ‘change is always possible’.”
Angela carries out psychological assessments and develops therapeutic client-focused interventions.
