Maddy comes from 9 years of experience working as a Support Worker before completing her Occupational Therapy Degree. She has worked with clients and their families towards engaging in meaningful community activities and developing home independence. She has extensive on-the-ground experience working with non-verbal clients and mental health diagnoses. Maddy previously completed her clinical placement at the RBWH Mental Health Team, working with individuals transitioning out of hospital care.
Maddy comes from an Italian background, shaping her family-centred values and considering the family unit when developing plans and resources. Maddy believes in a collaborative approach, meeting the client on equal ground and working with them towards the goals that they wish to achieve. She believes in working with families to achieve the best possible outcome.
