Get to know Maree S
As a Therapy Pro OT, Maree works with clients of all ages with disability, to assess and help improve daily living functions—at home, work or socially— enabling as much independence as possible, safely.
She can prescribe appropriate aids and equipment and consider minor home modifications to help improve your safe independence.
For more than a decade, Maree was a personal trainer, working closely with elite professional athletes.
On realising that she got more satisfaction from seeing clients at a community gym overcome illness and physical conditions, Maree went back to university to study occupational therapist.
Maree brings experience in her observational skills as an OT, focusing on strength and functional mobility, upper limb therapist, pain management and emotional regulation.
She’s mindful of the importance of activities being meaningful and culturally appropriate.
She’s also keenly aware of the impact our senses play in our behaviour.
