NDIS Psychology Supports, Therapists, and Practitioners

from Therapy Pro

We are driven by the belief that excellent support services can contribute to positive, ongoing change. Through the identification of unhelpful behaviours and thought processes, we’re able to provide guidance, perspective and accessible tools that can make a great impact on the way our clients think, feel, learn and behave in their daily environments.

Here is some of what our skilled psychologists can do:

  • Provide guidance, perspective and strategies that you can use when you feel overwhelmed on a day-to-day basis
  • Enhance problem-solving abilities, encouraging healthier navigation of relationships
  • Develop social skills that enable more meaningful connections
  • Develop tools that assist with managing stress and anger
  • Explore coping strategies and emotional regulation skills which can be of benefit in  situations
  • Provide individual and family counselling
  • Assist with behavioural support and advice, including the development of positive behaviour support plans, as well as upskilling the individual’s circle of support so they’re equipped to implement the plan

Frequently Asked Questions

If this is your first experience with a psychologist, you can relax – you’re in good hands. You don’t need to prepare. Your psychologist will gently lead you through some questions about why you’ve come to therapy, your personal goals, concerns, specific circumstances, and what you’d like to achieve from your work together.
All information disclosed to your psychologist is treated confidentially. If there is a need to disclose information, such as to a doctor, solicitor or another third party, you’ll be consulted first. Your psychologist will explain the legal limitations to confidentiality, but these are rarely of concern to our clients.

We pride ourselves in being able to offer Psychology across Australia via our industry-leading telehealth platform.
Alongside that, our in-person coverage includes (but is not limited to, and is ever growing) the list below:
Townsville, Sunshine Coast, North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Logan, Redlands, Ballina, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Moreton Bay and Sydney
